The Kids!

Today was a bit fuddled and confusing, but exciting to say the least. One thing led to another and basically the kids will be home by the middle of next week! I can't wait! Although, I will say that since the deadline for them coming home has moved up over a month, I have a lot to do over the weekend. Probably won't have time to post for at least a few days, but wanted to share my good news.

Hello from Corvallis

I am in Corvallis, but I am headed back home in the morning. I have had fun getting away and visiting my mom. We watched a movie and just relaxed on Saturday. Sunday, we went over to my aunt Shelley and uncle Eric's house for lunch. (It was delicious, thank you! And it just happened to be my all time favorite meal.) Then, today, we went to the airport and picked up grama and grandpa. It was a lot of fun because they had no idea that I was going to be there. I am feeling a bit blah right now, but that just comes with the territory. Officially 10 weeks today! I go back to the doc in two weeks for my next check-up.

This is my husband, Chris. He is a very sweet man. He has a great sense of humor and is the peanut butter to my jelly! I hope that each and every one of you can meet him.

This is my Hannah! She is 6. She's 90% girly-girl, 5% smarty pants, 3% tom boy and 2% mystery. But I love 100% of her. She loves art and is enjoying learning the piano. She loves to learn new things everyday and is very bright and full of love.

This is my Zennek. He's 4, five in a couple short months. He is very goofy. To know him is to fall in love with him. He is a boy after his uncle Doug's heart. They look very similar and have a lot of the same personality traits. I can just tell he is a mini ladies man, a little lover all around!

Here is my Jade. Currently 2, but 3 in 3 short weeks. They grow so fast! This picture was taken on my wedding day, at the reception. She is such a sweetie. She's in love with the color purple. She loves to cuddle with everyone especially "her Chris". She asks for him all the time whenever I talk to her on the phone. A sweet smile and a hug from her and she can make anyone's day better!

Well, that's the family. I'll post again soon. Lots of love, Bridget

Just Getting Started

Well, here I am. So many of my family members are on blogspot so I figured I would start one of my own to keep everyone up to date on how things are going with us. As of today I am still feeling extremely green. I am officially 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant. The kids are still with their dad, but will be coming home in the middle of June. I can't wait to see them and they are very excited as well. The kids still don't have a clue that I am expecting. I plan to surprise them with the news when I go to pick them up. I am working at Pizza Hut and keeeping busy with prepping the house for when the kids come home. Jade is having a birthday in a few weeks and is turning 3! They grow way too fast. Hannah, 6, is having a lot of fun with school and is learning to play the piano. Then there is Zennek, 4, who has so much energy and is so proud that he is learning some french. I am so greatful to have such wonderful children. My husband, Chris, is keeping busy with work as well as with our two dogs. We have a very hyper dog named Lacey who is a blue heeler/lab mix and a three legged husky/shepard mix named Clark. Clark somhow is our big escape artist and manages to dig under or climb over the gate to their kennel area. The collage of pictures are from the fall. The bruises on poor baby Jade's eye are there because she walked behind someone on a swing. All the pictures of Zennek are him being him, he has just got so much personality that everyone falls in love with him instantly. Hannah is so cute in her school uniform on her first day of kindergarten, and loves to draw. She was designing her own pumpkin for Halloweeen in the last photo. I love my babies! I hope this catches everyone up with at least a little of what's going on around here.
